The KOSTKA TOUR MAX (G6) is our most popular footbike for adults.

Equipped with large 26” and 20” wheels, ergonomic handlebars and rigid stainless steel frame, this footbike is a versatile multipurpose vehicle to meet most general users’ needs, on road or off.

This footbike is designed to give great stability and controllability of ride at any speed, making it ideal for beginners and experienced riders alike.

The TOUR MAX is suited to riders of all shapes and sizes, and is especially recommended for taller riders over 160cm, and can carry riders up to 150kg in weight.

Designed to turn heads wherever it goes, the frame is kitted out with gorgeous laser-engraved stainless steel label tags.

Safety reflectors have been placed at key locations around the footbike frame to ensure that you are safely seen in all conditions.

All Kostka Footbikes are backed by a 2 year warranty against any manufacturing defects.

Superior Ride Quality

The large 26” front wheel equipped with Schwalbe Marathon Racer pneumatic tyres takes any riding surface in its stride, providing comfort for every environment - from urban roads to nature trails.

The Sapim brand stainless steel direct wire wheel spokes give the wheels superior rigidity, and are ready to take on the biggest off-road challenges.

These Marathon Racer tyres are the lightest in their category from one of the world’s leading tyre manufacturers.  A special rubber layer reinforced with a double nylon membrane provides added protection against any knocks and improves longevity.

The natural SpeedGrip rubber used in the tyres provides perfect driveability with minimal rolling resistance. The tyres are equipped with a reflective strip on the lateral side and they can be inflated to high pressure.

Advanced European Engineering

The TOUR MAX’s sturdy stainless structural steel frame is precision-engineered and manufactured in Europe and all joins are double-welded using the latest precision welding techniques.

Stainless steel offers a range of benefits when compared to other aluminium-framed footbikes, including 3x the elasticity whilst maintaining strength for a more comfortable ride. It also offers improved resistance against material fatigue and vibration damping.

The use of stainless steel in the next generation frame has allowed us to lower the deck's height, reducing rider fatigue and providing for improved “pushing power.”

Other innovations in the TOUR MAX’s frame are enhanced rider space for better ride and stability, optimized rigidity and a new narrower, more elegant, aerodynamic shape.

The “drop-shaped” mainframe profile is very aerodynamic and is an integral part of the footbikes’ typical appearance. 

Construction has been optimised to reduce weight to a minimum, and the frame features dust-proof and waterproof coating to keep your footbike looking good even after the most punishing rides.

The TOUR MAX’s front stem is made by CNC milling from high tenacity aluminium alloy for maximum strength and minimum weight.

This frame construction with its embedded rear wheel axle prevents the pushing leg from making contact with the footbike frame - making your ride more comfortable, and is a breeze for beginners learning how to optimise their pushing action.

To further assist your “push off power”, the TOUR MAX features an innovative removable high tenacity aluminium alloy rear heel stop for greater leverage, extended stepping surface and enhanced rider space. 

Optimised for a wide range of shoe types & sizes, it also helps keep your foot in place while riding over bumps. Another benefit for beginners and experts alike.

An Ergonomic Wonder

Next generation Kostka FBH 680-50 Al Wings ergonomic handlebars are designed especially for footbiking. 

The bar ends are adapted to the natural angle of the rider’s wrist to reduce strain on the arms while riding, and the hardened foam grip ends further reduce vibration.

The handlebars are also adjustable in height via a simple adjustment of the spacing rings for even better ergonomic outcomes - making this footbike ideal for riders of all heights up to 190cm.

Premium Parts

The high-quality Shimano 4000 brakes are equipped with double-walled rims, a reinforced wall and precision machined brake surface to provide maximum safety and precise deceleration. The brake levers are designed for maximum ergonomic comfort.

The wheel hubs are milled from a high tenacity aluminium alloy, and have been developed with regard to high functionality. 

Low-friction industrial bearings enable the correct delimitation between the wheel and the hub rims - so no complicated hub adjustment is necessary. Just hop on and start exploring. 

Maintenance is a breeze, with the rear hub completely removable for easy access.

The stainless adhesive elements on the upper side of the standing deck prolong the deck’s lifespan. The slip-resistant elements protect the rider and prevent unwanted slipping of the standing leg.

An integrated hole for the kickstand (sold separately - CLICK HERE for more information) is also included. We strongly recommend this accessory for most users, as it means much more flexibility in storing or “parking” your footbike.

Accessorise It Your Way

The TOUR MAX can also be easily accessorised with installation of the unique KlickFix adapter - especially designed to attach to the front stem of Kostka footbikes.

Installing the adapter allows quick installation and changing of the KilckFix range of bicycle accessories, such as carry bags and baskets, lead holders for mushing with dogs, and more.

The KOSTKA TOUR MAX is a highly versatile footbike for beginners and experienced riders alike, giving you a smooth, stable ride in all conditions.

If you’re just starting out on your footbiking journey, we cannot recommend this one enough to ease your way up the learning curve to footbiking mastery.

 

Dispatch is 1–3 business days; delivery is typically 7–14 days.

A footbike is an oversized item and is quoted separately from dog gear: $100 to a business address, $180 residential, anywhere in Australia. Accessories that fit inside the footbike box ship free with it.

A business address means a commercial premises with normal business opening hours and staff available to receive deliveries. 

A business operated from a residential property is treated as a residential address for freight purposes.

Please note: In the event that shipping costs are significantly higher than stated, we reserve the right to contact the customer and request payment of the difference, in accordance with our Terms and Conditions and Shipping and Delivery Policy.

2 years on the frame and 1 year on components, excluding tubes and brake pads. These sit on top of the guarantees you have under Australian Consumer Law, which we cannot exclude.

Change of mind: 30 days, unused and in original packaging. Refunds are processed within 5 working days and exclude the initial shipping cost.
