Our story

The business was founded in 2018 when George brought a few footbikes over for himself and a group of friends, to see whether Perth was suited to them. He found that Perth was the best place for it: quality, endless cycle paths with minimal hills, and hills and terrain for more demanding riders in the surrounding area.

In 2020 George took on the Kostka representation for the whole of Australia, expanding the business outside Western Australia. That same year he met Regina at a random event, and she immediately fell in love with footbikes. They agreed to work together, and since then they have been raising awareness of a product they both still believe is unique and has its place in the market.

Along with Kostka, they also took on the representation of Manmat. Both companies come from the Czech Republic and work closely together there, and the collaboration has proven just as good here in Australia. To our surprise, the community of dog-sport lovers here is unusually large, and with no snow, the footbike is what a sled is elsewhere.

Footbikes are for everyone, regardless of age, gender, fitness level or sporting ability. Footbiking is all about movement and a healthy lifestyle. We discovered it in adulthood and it became our passion; every day we see the benefits it brings us.

We want people to move as often as possible, healthily and without restriction, so we are spreading the word across Australia that a footbike is not a toy for children. It is a full means of exercise, a serious fitness support, and a source of entertainment and pleasure.

Our biggest reward is hearing from customers who may not have the talent for other sports, or whose health no longer allows the sports they used to do, who have found a way to better health through footbiking. Good fitness is the basis for a healthy mind and a happy, well-balanced life. Footbiking is a good way to start rolling along that path.
