SOCIAL RIDES

 

Are you looking for a new kind of workout? Do you consider the footbiking would be perfect for you but not sure how to do it correctly to bring it the best results for you?

Booking for each event is essential.

Reservations close 48 hours before the event.

16.45 PM

Approximately 12 km long ride, starting in Burswood near the casino. We will ride along the river towards Mends St Jetty. We will then cross the river over the Narrows Bridge and turn towards Elisabeth Quay.

We will continue the ride back along Langley Park.

Depending on the remaining energy, we can optionally return back across the river via the Causeway Bridge or go all the way to Optus Stadium and use the Matagarup Bridge.

As always, we hope to have enough time to stop for an ice cream or other refreshments. Don’t worry about the speed. This is about having fun, so we’ll go at a pace that accommodates the slowest riders.

And don’t worry, you won’t be able to ride 13 km on a footbike. Riding a scooter with big wheels, a wide platform and hand brakes is smooth, pleasant and suitable for everyone.

This social ride is not suitable for children.

A simple and short ride for children and their parents through beautiful nature around the Herdsman Lake. The route is approximately 7 km long and includes both paved bike paths and dirt roads.

A great route to test what terrain our footbikes can handle.

The ride is designed for younger children and their parents (and not only), along the way we can take a break at one of the playgrounds or admire the life, especially the birds, which are abundant around the lake.

The entire route follows cycle paths and is completely safe. The ride is suitable for children from 6 years old, but their younger siblings are welcome to join in on the bikes. We also have 2 scooters with a child seat available.

Children must be accompanied by parents.

and take the gentle but long climb up to the Kings Park. From there, we’ll ride down towards the Elisabeth Quay. We will continue the ride back along Langley Park.

KENT STREET WEIR PARK

CANNING RIVER REGIONA PARK

Every Thursday

9.30 AM

Approximately 10 km long ride, starting at the cafe in Kent street Weir Park.
We will take a leisurely ride around part of the Canning river regional park along the Canning river. The entire route is on cycle paths.

The ride includes an introduction to footbiking, a short tutorial and a light warm-up. Regina will be your guide throughout the ride.

Don’t worry, you won’t be able to ride 10 km on a footbike. Riding a scooter with big wheels, a wide platform and hand brakes is smooth, pleasant and suitable for every fitness level and every age.

After the ride, we can have coffee together. It always tastes better when you burn off a few extra calories!

The ride is for ladies only, so you don’t have to feel embarrassed because you don’t have a perfect fitness body!

Just book your day and discover a new gentle and fun exercise.

iIn the case you want to try footbiking but Thursday’s don’t work for you, just contact us and we will find another day that suits you. 

The minimum requirement is 2 participants.

 

 

MEET YOUR GUIDES – REGINA & GEORGE

 

Regina and George will be your guides during the whole ride. At the beginning they will show you the correct technique, explain the advantages of footbiking.
