TheKOSTKA TRIP MAX DOG (G7)footbike is built on large 29/27.5″ wheels with solid axles and all-terrain tyres formaximum terrain clearance and stability. Whether you’re a professional musher or an enthusiastic amateur, the TRIP MAX DOG (G7) will give youoptimal handling and comfortso you can fully enjoy every moment of your ride. The frame is fitted with lugs for attaching a leash and shock absorber (included), this positioning provides better force distribution when being pulled by the dog.

The KOSTKA TRIP MAX DOG G7 design has been carefully engineeredwith the needs of mushers in mind, all with an emphasis oncombining elegance with high performance. The development of the footbike was done in collaboration with professional Mushers and riders who participate in extreme off-road races. This footbike hassuccessfully completed the 2020-mile Adventure race.

Our extremely advanced and durable frame is designed for natural vibration damping, combined with the newKOSTKA AEROfork made from aerospace grade aluminium, creating the perfect combination of stiffness, vibration damping and maximising acceleration at the same time. The result isa 35% reduction in front end weight, providing a faster and smoother riding experience with every bounce. Aerodynamic drag is minimised thanks to the sleek drop profile design.

A frame with increased stiffness, based on a time-tested design, offering perfect handling characteristics together with an unforgettable riding experience.The drop-shaped main frame profileprovidesexcellent aerodynamic propertiesand has also become anintegral part of the typical KOSTKA footbike look. Increased rider space, optimal rigidity and elegant lines are the basic elements of the new generation frame.

The integrated stand hole, front brace, special welds to increase the frame’s stiffness and resistance to contact with uneven ground are already astandard we are rightly proud of. To increase your comfort, we have built the footbike on a tapered frame concept with a 65mm wide hub. This solution, together with the recessed rear wheel axle, prevents the rebound leg from contacting the footbike, which positively affects the overall riding comfort. The stainless steel adhesive elements on the top of the footplate ensurelong-lasting footboard lifeand anti-slip properties.

The new KOSTKA 12mm thru axles provide increased torsional and longitudinal stiffness and stability. KOSTKA’s unique system of removable floatingKOSTKA Mag Endsat the rear of the frame ensure a precise wheel fit and are another identical feature. Thanks to the solid connection you gethigher strength and stiffnessof the construction, which means better handling and durability of the frame with the fork.

A jewel-like stem.

The new lightweight milledKostka SK 3250 Z2stem made of lightweight high-strength aluminium alloy features a unique solution for quick mounting of accessories such as panniers, leash holders and other accessories. Through optimization, we were able to achieve aweight reduction of 15%. We’ve laser engraved our message on the stem so you’llalways know where your footbike was born.

Wheels and hubs.With low rolling resistance.

Our hub designwas developed with high functionality and easy maintenance in mind.The innovative floating fitof high-quality, low friction Japanese bearings ensures precise clearance definition and thereforeno complicated hub adjustments are required. Easy removal of the hub ends allows foreasy maintenance. The direct knitting with Sapim stainless steel spokes guarantees high rigidity.

Thanks to the720 mm wide handlebars, you can achieve perfect handling even in the most demanding conditions. The handlebars dampen the micro-vibrations generated when riding.The new semi-integrated headsetensures an even more rigid and precise fit of the fork in the frame.

The rear heel stop ensures afirm and accurate standing leg position. It is made by milling from high-strength aluminium alloy.
